Biography

Jon Davito

I am Jonathan Davito, CAPM team leader and listing specialist for Crossroads Realty Group in St. Charles County, Missouri. Together with my wife, Tiffany and growing team, we help families make smart choices in today’s changing residential real estate environment. Crossroads Realty group is powered by Keller Williams Realty West Partners located in Lake St. Louis, MO.

I am also the Director of Information Technology and Business Development Leader for American Business Brokers a boutique business brokerage firm based out of the Midwest. As department head for a national brokerage firm, I wear many hats. My professional responsibilities can be described as equal parts database administrator, systems analyst, operations manager, technical support, marketing personnel, brand manager/evangelist, public speaker, communications director and project manager.

I also act as financial market analyst for the Mergers & Acquisitions division of American Business Brokers and Advisors led by Terry Monroe. Along with Terry and a small group of highly specialized industry veterans, we help privately owned companies in the gas station & convenience store industry realize their exit strategy goals by advising them through the acquisition process. We specialize in chains with 5 to 50 stores and values from $5M to $75M.

I grew up in the Midwest where I attended and graduated from St. Anthony’s Grade School and High School in Effingham, Illinois. In 1997 I moved to St. Louis, Missouri to pursue a degree in higher education. A 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri’s program in Biology, I began working for the Genome Sequencing Center at the Washington University School of Medicine in November of that same year. I consider myself very fortunate to be a contributing member on many landmark scientific efforts such as the sequencing of the human and mouse genomes and various other model organisms.

During my time at the university, I applied and was accepted into the University College’s continuing education program for graduates in the area of Information Management. In 2006, I graduated summa cum laude from the prestigious School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Washington University with a Bachelors degree in Information Management. I am an active member of the Project Management Institute [PMI] where I have earned the recognition of Certified Associate in Project Management [CAPM].

I left Washington University in the fall of 2006 to accept a position as Director of Information Technology with American Business Brokers. A position I still hold to this day. In 2007 I was a contributing member to the start-up website GasStations.com and served as Marketing & Development coordinator for the e-commerce site until 2011.

From late 2009 to mid-2011 I was a SEO and website usability consultant for Elysium, a design and technology company operating out of Geneva, Switzerland. With Elysium I worked with a multi-national group of designers and developers creating and maintaining international websites of the highest quality.

I enjoy learning about new and emerging technologies, playing with WordPress and consider myself an avid reader. I currently reside just west of St. Louis with my wife Tiffany and our four kids.
