Sotto voce. A phrase of Italian origin often used in musical or literary direction. It means “to speak under one’s breath” or “in a private manner”. Sotto voce has also been used to describe words and actions that were performed as an aside to the main plot line…almost as an afterthought.

Too often small businesses and individuals treat their branding and communications efforts sotto voce. This blog was put together to help folks say no to that type of thinking. To help folks say no to making one’s personal branding or small business marketing an afterthought. To help you say yes to taking charge of your online presence and personal brand and to give you the tools to do so.
